 Shihan G. A. T Livera who was the Father of Sri Lanka Karate has registered all Ceylon Karate Federation in 27th of October 1967 under Sri Lankan government law. Since 1967 More than 500 thousand students has learn and more than 3000 students were qualified with Black Belt Instractor.National Karate Championship meet(Katha & Kumethe) will held Twice per years and mean while every year held Black Grading other than these activates since 1967 to 1999 had 14  Gold Medal Championship Meet.Shihan G. A. T. Livera is 7th Dan Black Belt Holder. He has conducted Karate Classes in 22 districts almost 18 years. In 19th of October 1999 he has passed way.
